Services & Practice Areas

Companies facing recurring contracts, operational risk, and consequential deals often need senior legal judgment without building a full in-house team. As outside general counsel, I provide practical, business‑oriented solutions designed to reduce friction, control risk, preserve leverage, and keep high‑value work moving. I help you manage operational and contractual risk, negotiate high‑value agreements, align insurance and risk transfer, and resolve significant claims and disputes. I partner with companies tackling consequential projects, contracts, and disputes to deliver tailored counsel that aligns day‑to‑day decisions with long‑term strategy. Whether you need guidance on entity structuring, operations, contract review, or claim and dispute management, I help leadership teams make legal decisions that protect margin, preserve leverage, and keep critical work moving.

I provide comprehensive legal counsel on commercial and residential construction projects and related transactions, helping clients navigate the complexities of the construction industry. From negotiating construction contracts, managing schedule delays, cost overruns, and inefficiencies to addressing change orders, payment disputes, liens, terminations, and construction and design defects, I protect your interests and keep your projects on track.
I’ve negotiated contracts and helped resolve disputes for a diverse range of clients, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use builders, developers, and contractors; energy facilities; crude oil and natural gas pipelines; commercial lenders and creditors; governmental entities; hotels; casinos; and office facilities.
On complex projects and transactions, I bring the experience and insight needed to protect your position and achieve your goals.
About Andrew
I moved to Houston right out of law school. I spent a decade practicing law at two of the largest law firms in the world (Norton Rose Fulbright and Mayer Brown) developing a reputation for pragmatic, efficient, and no-nonsense counsel. I started my own firm to deliver big‑firm‑caliber counsel through a focused, responsive practice built around a select group of serious clients.
When I am not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter, and dog. I am a semi-professional music producer and musician as well. You can check out my work on Spotify. I am also really into coffee. If you work with me, there’s a good chance we’ll talk strategy over coffee that I roast myself.
